FINALIST
I created the wildlife graphic to show that Prince Albert is the heartbeat of the north—the gateway to forests, wildlife, lakes and recreation. The moose, bear, fish and trees represent some of the vast wildlife and wilderness that PA and area has to offer. I added the grunge effect for a funky, modern vibe.
FINALIST
The PASK oval design focusses on the river, train bridge and trees of Prince Albert—a true representation of the city. I wanted to showcase the train bridge as it is iconic to the city. Modern, fresh, and simple, this design lends itself easily to any medium, including apparel, print and other promotional items.

For this entry, I used icons to showcase all that Prince Albert has to offer—camping, fishing, canoeing, wildlife, hunting, music, picnic areas, sports, hiking, forestry, golfing, farming, etc. Together these icons construct the letters P and A. With such a plethora of things to do and see in and around the city, locals and visitors should never be bored.

This entry incorporates a view of the Prince Albert museum, North Saskatchewan River, train bridge and forests all wrapped up inside the shape of a compass. The compass suggests exploration and adventure, which will entice more people to consider visiting the city.

This design includes a view looking west toward the train bridge and river. I’ve also included one of the prominent buildings along the river. A simple and clean graphic that will easily transfer to any medium.
